Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation is a regional Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in East Arnhem Land, providing comprehensive primary health care services for over 6,000 Indigenous residents of North East Arnhem and public health services for close to 10,000 people across the region.

We are looking for an Expression of Interest from conscientious and dedicated person to become an Aboriginal Health Practitioner Trainee. To be considered for this role you will need to be committed to working confidentially in a cross cultural environment in remote communities.
To be successful in this role you will be able to:
- Attend scheduled education sessions within the clinics as directed by Clinical Educator.
- Attend all Batchelor training blocks prescribed as per direction of the Clinical Educator.
- Obtain the Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice).
- Devote a minimum of 20hrs supervised clinical time per week.
You must have a current NT Driver's License and a current Ochre Card (or the ability to obtain one).
